Claudiu Roman is a s at CERNESIM-L3 laboratories with five years’ experience on gas phase investigations of organic volatile and semi-volatile atmospheric pollutants in simulated conditions. He`s currently a PhD. Student that is focus on the evaluation of degradation mechanisms for aromatic hydrocarbons, using different analytical tools such as FTIR spectroscopy and MS spectrometry, particles discriminators and gas monitors along with the Environmental Simulation Chamber made out of quartz from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi (ESC-Q-UAIC photoreactor). Some of his activities consists of gas phase kinetic measurements, product studies and secondary organic aerosol from the atmospheric decay of organic pollutants. Claudiu Roman has a bachelor degree in chemistry and a master degree in environmental chemistry and food safety at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi.
