Study of some physical properties of conjugated polymers thin films used in solar cells applications, involving thin films preparation (by spin coating) and their characterization using various analysis techniques: optical properties (by spectrophotometry, ellipsometry), electrical properties (e.g. electrical resistivity, charge carrier mobility by charge extraction by linearly increasing voltage – CELIV), morphological properties (by atomic force microscopy, hydrophobicity determination), structural properties (by X-ray diffraction), etc.

Nonlinear optics experiments consisting of parametric fluorescence in co-propagative and counter-propagative configuration, previously involving the fabrication of optical waveguides and their characterization by determining the refractive index profile and propagation losses.
