I am a chemical engineer diplomat, graduated the Polytechnic Institute of Iasi – Faculty of Technology and Textile Chemistry, Department of Chemical Technology products Textiles, leather and substitutes. I obtained a PhD in Biotechnology with a thesis entitled “Research on biodegradable composite materials,” at Technical University Gh. Asachi “Iasi, completing with a master’s degree in Soil Science at the Faculty of Geography and Geology, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. Since 2018 I receive habilitation in Environmental Science at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. Certificated by the MO No. 4265/08.08.2018. Areas and directions of interest and research: Ecosystem services. Monitoring environmental factors (Quality of aquatic systems; Soil organic carbon: typology, distribution, stock, modeling; Ecological and enzymatic studies on soil resources in forest ecosystems; Technosols; Mercury in the environment), Pollution and environmental protection (Geochemical distribution of some elements in various environments; Environmental impact assessment), GIS and remote sensing in environmental science (GIS / RS techniques and statistical methods applied in the study of environmental factors).
