I have more than 10 years of experience in analysis of freshwater and marine ecosystems. In the last 4 years I developed applications using neuroscience and zebrafish model to understand, prove and research the harmful effects of pollutants released in aquatic and terrestrial environments; food contaminants. I gained more than 10 years of experience in research of toxic metals from environment and biota, effects of pesticides, environment ecotoxicology, pollutants forensics from marine environment, fish physiology and animals models in toxicology and pharmacology research. I am the author of 32 ISI papers and I revised more than 70 papers for various journals in this field. I am interested at this moment on microplastics pollution of aquatic ecosystems and their effects on biota.
