Cornelia Amarandei is a laboratory chemist at the CERNESIM Center within the ICI-UAIC since 2020. Also, she has been a PhD student at Doctoral School of Chemistry of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi since 2018. She completed her bachelor’s studies in Technological Biochemistry in 2016 and her master’s degree in Environmental Chemistry and Food Safety in 2018 from “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Faculty of Chemistry. She was employed in the AI-FORECAST (PN-III-P4-ID-PCE-2016-0299) and IGAC-CYCLO (PN-III-P4-ID-PCE-2016-0299) research projects. Her research interests associated with her doctoral study topic and the above mentioned research projects include development of methods for identification and quantification of secondary organic aerosols molecular markers, chemical characterization of atmospheric aerosols, and investigation of organic aerosol formation processes.
