Constantin Răchită is a research assistant at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Department, Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza”​ University of Iași. He has a PhD in Classical Philology and a Masters in Hermeneutics from the University of Iași. After a short career in education, he joined DSSU in 2013. His main research activities are concerned with the translation and interpretation of ancient texts, written in Old Greek and Latin. Over time, he was involved in various translation and editing projects. His current research interests include interdisciplinary approaches to the biblical texts, investigating the problems related to translation, transmission and their role in shaping contemporary society.
