Ph.D. in the fundamental field of Exact Sciences, Physics (2023). My research is conducted within the subfields of molecular biophysics and bio-nanotechnology, with direct applications in biomedicine. My scientific interests center on single-molecule investigations using protein nanopore–based techniques to elucidate molecular interactions underlying essential biological processes.
The core areas of my research include comparative studies of the unzipping mechanisms of DNA–PNA duplexes, sequence-specific detection of single-stranded DNA, and the examination of factors influencing DNA molecule detection through electrophysiological approaches.
Furthermore, my work encompasses real-time detection of pathogen antigens using protein-based biosensors, the study of antimicrobial peptides with therapeutic potential, and nanoscale characterization of PAMAM dendrimers. In present, I am focused on exploring the interactions between metal ions and DNA molecules at the single-molecule level through advanced protein nanopore methodologies.
