Andreea Georgiana BULAI is a scientific researcher III in L3c Laboratory-CERNESIM/DIS/ICI and obtained her PhD in Physics in 2013 at “Alexandu Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania.  Her research activity is mainly focused on the synthesis and analysis of magnetic and magnetostrictive materials – spinel ferrites; pulsed laser deposition of different types of materials: ferrites, chalcogenides, metallic alloys and oxides; structural (profilometry, XRD, Raman Spectroscopy), chemical (SEM/EDX), optical (UV-VIS Spectroscopy) and magnetic analysis (VSM, MFM) of powders and thin films; optical (ICCD Imaging), electrical (Langmuir probe) and spectral (OES) diagnosis of the laser induced plasma; study of  laser ablation in liquid media and polymer-magnetic material based systems. The research results were published in 35 papers of Web of Science journals (h index: 11).
