Delia-Elena Diaconașu is a researcher at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Department. She is a graduate in mathematics and finance at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. Her current research activities are mainly concerned with monetary theory, emerging financial markets, sustainable development, and econometrics and statistical methods. She has published two volumes on the topic of sustainable development at the Palgrave Macmillan publishing house. Overall, she has published 1 book single author, 2 co-authored books, 2 book chapters, 31 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented her work at 50 international conferences. She has been a postdoctoral research fellow at the Romanian Academy, visiting researcher at University of Konstanz and University of Luxembourg, member of five research project teams and member of organizing/scientific committee within 12 international conferences.
