Camelia Gradinaru is Senior Researcher at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Department at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași and she has a part-time position as associate professor at the Department of Communication Sciences and Public Relations, Faculty of Philosophy and Socio-Political Sciences, UAIC. She has a PhD in Philosophy (2008) and she was a postdoctoral fellow in Communication Sciences (2010-2013). She is the author of the books Discursul filosofic postmodern. Cazul Baudrillard [The Postmodern Philosophical Discourse. The Baudrillard Case], 2010 and New Media and Philosophy: Crossroads Studies (2020). She co-edited several volumes: Supplement of “Philologica Jassyensia” (2014), Perspectives in Humanities. Keys for Interdisciplinarity (2015), From Manuscript to E-Book (2015), Figures of Migration (2016), Revolutions: The Archeology of Change (2017), Exploring the Digital Turn (2019). She published book chapters at Romanian and international publishing houses (France, Poland) and numerous papers in international journals such as Empedocles: European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication, Sign Systems Studies, Trans/Form/Ação, Journal of Media Critiques.
